CAN I DELETE ABLETON LIVE PACKS AFTER INSTALLED TRIAL
(I didn't do the system restore BECAUSE of this issue, I tend to trial a lot of programs so I like to re-install my operating system every six-or-so months.) I even did a complete system restore yesterday, thinking maybe something got messed up when I was using the beta versions, but nothing came of it. I guess I am mostly just curious whether anyone else is having this problem I have been Googling the issue since January (when Live 9 was in beta) and it seems that I am either the only one having this issue or I am incapable of using a search engine. I have also tried editing Ableton Rewire's registry entry, to no avail.

I have tried using the 64-bit versions of each program as well I came down to 32 in hopes that the problem was due to Ableton's dodgy 64-bit support but it made no difference.

I didn't have any problems getting Live 8 to work, which leads me to believe that this may be a case of Reaper's Rewire settings needing an update. But I want to use Reaper as the master, or at least have the option to, because Reaper is an amazing mixer and is excellent to record with and Ableton is an amazing MIDI performance tool. When I start Reaper in slave mode, Ableton recognizes it no problem. I am running Ableton Live 9 (32-bit) and Reaper 4.32 (32-bit), and I cannot get Ableton to show up in Reaper's list of Rewire applications. I am having troubles getting Reaper to recognize Ableton Live 9.
